This is a personal collection of photographs taken in Haifa and Akka, Israel, during the conference marking the inauguration of the International Teaching Centre building, from Jan. 8 to 17, 2001.

79 Counsellors and 849 Auxiliary Board members from 172 countries around the world particpated in this historic event. In its message of 14 Jan. 2001, addressed to the conference particpants, The Universal House of Justice pointed out that "Indeed, on no occasion in the past have the major constituents of the institution of the Counsellors ever assembled in the Holy Land".
